Emergency Assistance.
Sponsor AFE's program to help support patient transportation or stay at a facility when bad weather does not permit them to fly that day.
Adopt-an-Angel Flight.
Support that will cover the costs for a designated number of flights. Each flight is approximately $400.

The Steve Altman Memorial Fund
As the first anniversary of this tragedy comes upon us, we continue to keep the Altman family in our thoughts and prayers. The Steve Altman Memorial Fund was established to honor the life of Steve who died on August 8, 2009. His brother Dan and nephew Doug were killed also when their plane collided with a helicopter over the Hudson River.
Steve, the son of Louise and Dave (an Angel Flight East Board of Directors, volunteer, and pilot) , was a very generous and compassionate man. He volunteered many times as a co-pilot flying missions of sick children and adults to medical treatment far from their homes.
The fund was established by Steve’s family to perpetuate his memory.
