Angel Flight East is successful because of our network of dedicated volunteers. These special people we call "Earth Angels" include administrative support, special event coordinators and fundraisers.

Our volunteer pilots could not accomplish their mission if it were not for our strong network of good volunteers willing to "go the extra mile". Our Earth Angel volunteers are critical to the success of our organization. Without them Angel Flight missions would be grounded.

With a goal of flying or coordinating 800 missions this year, we need more volunteers than ever—both in the air and on the ground.

We have three full time employees and could use help with some of these tasks:

• Outreach: Give presentations about AFE to medical professionals, and provide help at special events.
• Development: Assist in fundraising, grant writing and general appeal campaigns.
• Office Assistance: Perform clerical work; help with data entry, provide assistance in writing our newsletter,press releases and much more!
• Pilots (IFR rated): Fly patients to and from diagnosis and treatment centers.
• Pilots (VFR rated): Fly co-pilot when possible, give presentations about AFE, help distribute literature and spread the word!
• Volunteer on a committee- Outreach, Human Resources, Finance, Public Relations or Pilot
